ABOUT
Hi, my name is Tak. I am a motion graphic designer as well as an installation artist through utilizing my motion design skills. Currently based in San Francisco, I have a variety of professional interests from visual storytelling to advocating diversity inclusion. Started as a sculpture artist, I've always had passion in conveying emotions in visual forms. Whether it's an art, design or movement, my goal is always to touch people's feelings and evoke some kind of emotional attachment. I believe that great art can unite us all, and great design can make every human interaction meaningful. I love seeing people react to and interact with my creation, and professionally I love helping companies and organizations create meaningful connections with people and make the world a better place one design at a time.

The piece was presented at Eco Poca (Ecopocalypse), the art and culture event commissioned by API Cultural Center that addressed the climate change and the solutions to the environmental issues through art and performances.

I am proud of being (small) part of this amazing documentary film Mother Daughter Sister (2018), produced and directed by Jeanne Hallacy. The film focuses on the ethnic cleansing and sexual violence against Kachin and Rohingya women done by the Burmese military and chronicles the effort to bring justice. I created a map animation in the film.

passion
Coming Soon
My another passion (and certainly a life-long commitment) is diversity inclusion. I had an amazing life-changing internship opportunity earlier in my life with this nonprofit in New York that advocates LGBT inclusive advertising. Through talking to people on the issue, listening to experts' insights and watching the whole ad industry get serious on diversity inclusion, I learned the importance of equal treatments and opportunities in today's society. It changed the way I see the world and inspired me to carry on with that fundamental belief wherever I go, and today I am advocating diversity in the workplace, design and everywhere else because having people from different places, different backgrounds, different genders, shapes and languages is the most beautiful thing we can do as humans.
